    Obverse:
    in a circle along the edge of the coin, the inscription, divided at the top by a rosette, "ЧИСТОГО СЕРЕБРА 2 ЗОЛОТНИКА 10 1/2 ДОЛЕЙ" in the middle in a dotted rim, the Small State Emblem of the Russian Empire, at the bottom along the rim to the left and right of the eagle's tail, the initials of the Mintsmeister "АГ" (Apollo Grashof).
    Reverse:
    above is the Crown of the Russian Empire, below the denomination of the coin is the word "ПОЛТИНА", below it are two lines looking in different directions, separated by a dot, below is the year of issue of the coin
