Gurt:
Since 1886, the content of the precious metal in the gold coin has been brought into line with the silver ruble and the gold coin accepted in Europe. Since that time, the laj (surcharge) in relation to silver, which for a long time was about 3%, is eliminated, and the semi-imperial gets the opportunity to apply in European countries.
The technical characteristics change in a similar way to silver-the coins become thicker, but of a smaller diameter, and well, the standard sample is now 900, instead of 88 spool.
The portraits for the semi — imperials are prepared by Avraham Grilihes, and the coat of arms for the reverse side is ego, father, Avenir Grigorievich.
The portrait changes in 1889 — the goal becomes somewhat wider, and the beard is shorter. Some of the postmarks of both types have the «
АГ
» sign in the neck circumcision.
The sample is 900, the standard weight is 6.45 grams. The border inscription is "pure gold 1 spool 34.68 shares".
The obverse side is a portrait of Alexander III and the inscription "
Б.М. АЛЕКСАНДР III ИМПЕРАТОР И САМОДЕРЖЕЦ ВСЕРОССИЙСКИЙ
", the reverse side is a double-headed eagle, the denomination («
5 РУБЛЕЙ
») and the date.
