Yaqui Pascola Dance Mask Rodrigo Rodriguez 1999 Unicorn Unusual

Description

This unusual mask is by Yaqui carver Rodrigo rodriguez. I got it from a local importer who got it directly fom the carver. 5" w x 8"t the hair extends about 10" long.  Very nicely carved and painted I haven't seen another unicorn mask besides this one.  This is not one that has been danced but most likelly made for sale.  A great example of carving skill by a known Yaqui carver.
