This lovely Southern Belle pattern includes complete instructions for embroidered motif for the center of a bedspread or summer quilt ~ could also be used as a wall hanging. This auction is for a reprint of the original.
Our research indicates that this pattern was published without copyright notice in the 1930s and entered public domain in 1950s ~ therefore it does not infringe on any copyright laws.
Our professional transfer copies work just like normal transfers. Just use a hot dry iron to transfer onto fabric. The pattern is for a Southern Belle that measures 20 inches in tall by approximately 15 inches wide. This pattern features a Southern Belle wearing a bonnet near her garden gate.  She is surrounded by cross stitch roses and foliage.  Use this pattern to create a great bedspread to use in your guest room, Bed & Breakfast or give as a unique wedding gift.  A completed spread made with this design is sure to be a treasure!
