    For sale is a large gold Russian 10 Rouble coin minted during the reign of Catherine the Great in Sankt Petersburg in 1776 - the year of the American Declaration of Independence.
    It is listed in Krause as KM-C79a.
    This coin has original surfaces and has been graded F12 by NGC. The coin has circulated (a lot!) but there is no hidden defect and it looks much better in hand - the photos do not capture the level of detail

    is, in my
    opinion
    , better than the F12 grade.
