This wonderful piece of wall décor or office desk tot décor art in
dark stained  painted in original hand carved single log of wood
with wide eyes open mouth showing fires teeth .
It is likely a jaguar head in third dimension with elegant sanding and great
appearance without in, some of this  beauty are used  for dancing or fiestas
by Tlacolores & Tecumes  people around rural villages  in  Guerrero, Mexico
The jaguar is Mexico largest and  most powerful, & enduring symbolic animal
.,prowl the art of most ancient  Mexican civilization, from Olmec to the Aztec.
Most of this type of mask , are used for kids and adult  in a  Dancing  or fiestas
fighting to spill blood for jaguar  deity who, then sends rain to fertilize the maize.
This mask It looks like it was carved around 70' or 80's but the person who sell it to Me,\
told me that, He recently painted in dark mahogany color because it was not painted
when He buy it.. As you can see on pic some areas it looks like is different color  or looks
white with clear varnish... that is because the  one person ho made this mask  used an
especially of tree resin to remove the imperfection of wood . that would no be noticeable
at all if it  had not been painted, but I think that with this color it gives a touch of elegance
and distention to this piece of art

I pack mine items well to prevent damage, and ship is based on
actual weight and side or distance of the item.

I do not charge any large pack and “handing” fees and Multiples
item can be combined upon request as long as I don’t feel
