Description
Important Note:
1) Requires a DisplayPort version 1.2 output from the graphics card for full functionality
If the source DisplayPort output doesn’t support DP 1.2, the MST function is disabled and this hub becomes a Splitter, mirroring your video source across all displays
2) Intel CPUs with HD Graphics are limited to 3 external monitors altogether
3) Video Wall mode (e.g., Panoramic, 2x2) requires either an AMD Eyefinity, Intel, or NVIDIA Surround technology graphics adapter
4) Mirror mode using Windows Display Utility and NVIDIA Utility is limited to 2 displays
5) Mac Operating System currently do not support MST function and are not recommended

gofanco DisplayPort 1.2 4-Port MST Hub/Splitter allows you to connect four DisplayPort monitors to your DisplayPort enabled laptop, Ultrabook, or PC. Configure these added monitors anyway you want; work as a splitter with the same content on each monitor, extended mode with 4 independent monitors, or expand mode joining multiple monitors together as one display.
Eyefinity compatible for gaming and digital signage: Active converter ensures compatibility with AMD Eyefinity technology to support multi-screen SLS gaming and digital signage applications.
Important Note:
The total bandwidth of 21.6Gbps, when connected to a DisplayPort 1.2 port, is shared among all attached monitors. If the bandwidth is used up by the first few monitors, the remaining monitors will be disabled. Please make sure the total combined resolution bandwidth between all displays does NOT exceed 100%. See average resolution bandwidth allocation below.
