Offered are vintage fur gauntlet mittens with leather palms.  They do not have any tags or labels so I will tell you what I see...the palms are supple black leather, with some color loss.  The fur, which I think is bear, is almost black with some brown and reddish-brown highlights; it is silky and luxurious.  In the fifth photo you can see a "balding" area; I think it looks natural and not like damage.  The gauntlets are lined in corduroy, which is in good condition, and bound with cotton, which shows some wear/ abrasion on the edge.  I can't tell what the fabric or fiber of the interior of the mitt is--it looks like it was originally fleece, but it's now matted.
Size--not marked!  The measurement across the leather palm below the thumb is 4-1/4" on one mitten and 4-1/2" on the other.  Both mittens are 5" from the base of the thumb to the tip of the fingers--measuring only the leather, not the fur.
I wear a ladies 7-1/2 and these are too big for me.  My husband wears a men's medium and these are somewhat snug on him.  My best GUESS is that these are a ladies large or a men's small.  Yes, returns are accepted.  Please let me know of your intentions within 3 days and return promptly, carefully wrapped, in exactly the condition received.
