To install, you first have to remove the old draft shield and install (or whatever is left over) as simple as using a flat tool (like a flat-blade screwdriver) to gently pry it away from the case under the shield opening. The stand and its foam should pop out. Then just line up the upgraded mic windsock with the rubber mic connector and press firmly and lightly straight down to apply even pressure to all 4 reinforced prongs that you can feel through the foam. The cover should snap into place. Gently twist the cap to make sure it's seated properly and the foam isn't getting caught anywhere. Installation is complete.
