    Description

This lovely gold filled antique stickpin represents a famous English Bulldog “Joey” who was the mascot of the HMS Queen Elizabeth until his death in 1922. He accompanied Admiral of the Fleet Early Beatty on the peace march through London in 1919. The Queen Elizabeth was a battleship built for the Royal Navy in the early 1910’s and served in WWI. The pin measures 2 3/4 inches in length and the dog is 6/8 inches wide by 3/8 inches high and wears a studded collar. It is in excellent condition and has the name “JOEY” in raised letters on the backside.
