Description:
A beautiful crisp very fine or much better Banknote from Spain. This is the August 15 1928, 100 Peseta currency note. The banknote has purple and black design on multicolor under-print and depicts the image of Miguel de Cervantes to the left of the front. The front also has the image of a monument in the center. The banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front and only the denomination on the back. The back is in dark blue in color and depicts a painting of Don Quixote by M Pidal. It has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number A5,142,543 displayed in red on the front and four times on the back. The paper of the note is still crisp and retains quite a bit of its original crispiness and stiffness. The note has a water mark showing Miguel de Cervantes in the round lighter colored circle situated in the left near the top of the back. The note has three signatures on the front. Additional charges will be incurred depending on the value of the item. I would grade this banknote as a crisp very fine to extremely fine with all the details being very well preserved. The note has several light vertical creases but no horizontal ones. It has a few bumps and some light roughness along the edges. It has no pinholes, no graffiti, no stains, no tears and no splits. The corners are intact with minor rounding and some bumps. The note is lightly soiled but has no objectionable stains. Just a great piece to add to your collection.
