    Description

Each single purchase gets you 50 cones.
These are thick cardboard cones.  Sturdy.  Custom made specifically for industrial manufacturing.  So you will be able to reuse the cones over and over again for a long time.
Each cone has a pigtail notch at the bottom for winding yarn onto cones.
These cones are actual cones that have been used to manufacture wool items made in the U.S.A.
Some cones are new and some are used.  They are all in excellent condition.  Like New!
Why pay full price when you can get at half the price.
Look brand new with a Label on the inside that says the color of yarn that was spun on the cone.
If you peel off the label on the inside of the cone, most would look new.  I like the label on the inside.  I feel that it gives each cone a little history.
Most of the Cones are from the Brown Sheep yarn that I sell in this shop, it is the exact type of yarn that came off of these cones.  If you are interested in what they look like.
Perfect cone shape: Size is 6 3/4 " tall and diameter is approximately 2 3/4" on the bottom outside, hollow inside. Top has very small opening.
Great sturdy cone shape, used for many crafts.
    Very Strong Cones!
Great for Winding Yarn, Winding Wool, Knitting Machines, Craft Projects, Angels, Etc. Hard to find.
They work with Electric cone winders.
Please look at the last 2 images showing the notch and the purpose of the notch.  One is of a close-up of putting the pigtail in the notch.  The other image show a cone of yarn without a notch and the result of what can happen when putting yarn on a cone without the notch.  The cones without notches can result in the yarn slipping off the cone after yarn has been put on.  This waists time and energy and can ruin your knitting projects.  Make sure that your cones have the notch if you are planning on putting yarn on them.  The notch makes sure that the yarn stays on the cone.  All of my cones have the notch.
For larger quantities, let me know.  I might have it.  Maybe not though.  Just ask!
