    Description

McCall Kaumagraph Transfer pattern #1590 contains uncut pattern pieces and two large sized pages of information to construct an 8" high Gingerbread House. The recipe is also included. Pattern has a copyright date of 1950 and retailed for .25 cents. The gingerbread house is based upon the design featured on the cover of the December 1950 McCall's magazine Christmas issue. (See black & white picture in photo #4). I sought out a photo of the actual 1950 magazine with the gingerbread house on the cover. It stated on the cover: "See page 4. How to make this wonderful Gingerbread House for your children". This pattern offers the transfer sheets to construct an accurate depiction of the cover's design. The instructions are printed on a slick type of paper and measure 11.5"w x 15"h. Sheet #1 contains instructions for making the house. Info is printed on both sides. Sheet #2 contains directions for making a Children's Party House complete with the types of candies you will need. As stated previously, the envelope shows wear on the edges, but contents are in great condition. It will cost .96 to ship at First Class mail rate.
