    This is a 'Buy it Now' for an 1897 Metropolitan Police Jubilee and Coronation trio of medals, which all have the Metropolitan Police Reverse and are correctly named to:1897 Queen Victoria Jubilee Medal - 'P.C. F. STONEHAM. B. DIVn.'1902 King Edward VII Coronation Medal - 'P.C. F. STONEHAM. B. DIV.'1911 King George V Coronation Medal - 'P.S. F. STONEHAM.'Medals mounted as worn.Frederick James Stoneham was born on 23 July 1874, in Stepney, East London.He joined the Metropolitan Police aged twenty-two years old on 25 August 1896, initially serving on B Division at Chelsea - Warrant Number 81661.His records note his former employment as a Gardener in Roehampton, Middlesex, and that he was 6'1" tall with his address on joining given as 9 Lion Terrace, Putney, SW London.Stoneham served on B Division at Chelsea for the 1897 Jubilee and 1902 Coronation, then on 20 January 1906 he was promoted to Police Sergeant and transferred to A Division at New Scotland Yard. He was further promoted to Station Police Sergeant on 24 April 1909 and transferred to W Division at Brixton, but just over a year later on 25 July 1910 he was reduced to Police Sergeant.Sergeant Stoneham resigned form the force on 9 October 1922 while serving on W Division, and was granted a pension of £195 pounds, 13 Shillings and Sixpence, retiring to Chingford.The medals are mounted as worn on an unusual bar and are in gVF condition with some nice even and matching toning.
