DESCRIPTION
Antique set of 3 WW1 military medals. The first is a British Empire WW1 participation medal for a Canadian soldier, the second is the 1914-1918 German Cross. and the third is an American Legion 40 Hommes 8 Cheveaux-brass ribbon & medal
The inscription on the rim of the round medal says 859879 A S SJT G W RENNIE 20-CAN INF
La Societe des Quarante Hommes is an honor organization of U. S. veterans, more commonly known as the Forty & Eight. The Forty & Eight was founded in 1920 by American veterans returning from France.
The third medal was produced by the Third Reich to Commemorate its WW1 War Veterans, Hindenburg Cross of Honor with Sword (for Combatants) some 6 Million+ were issued upon application by the veteran from 1934 on wards (1945)

These medals are in good condition with wear and tear to the metal and ribbon commensurate with age and use (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description)
