    Description

    53- 1951/52 First Day Issue Special Delivery S.S. United States Maiden Voyage Cover with original Captain Commodore Harry Manning Autograph . I don't know if the purple S. S. United States Maiden Voyage from New York July 1952 is an actual first day issue cover or not. In any case it is a very nice item and probably limited distribution . This is a good selection of first-day issue covers. The first two including a 150th anniversary George Washington cover are from 1933 . Two of the covers are loose . The covers are contained in a generic black National notebook binder. They are mounted on the pages with corner mounts and the pages separated with glassine pages. They are in very good condition.  Please check the photos closely for an indication of the type of covers included in the lot.
